About Us

Nestled at the foot of Mount Leinster in Knockullard, Co. Carlow, our market garden is a small, family-run operation rooted in a love of good food, healthy soil, and community. Founded in 2023, we’re still at the beginning of our journey, learning as we grow and shaping the garden season by season.

We’re Peter Lee, his wife Ali, and our two children, Jay and Perrie. Before turning his focus to growing, Peter trained and worked for many years as a sound engineer. A lifelong interest in food led him to complete the Ballymaloe Cookery Course in 2016, planting the seed for a change in direction and a deeper connection to where food comes from.

Today, our garden is completely chemical-free and designed to work in harmony with nature. We grow a wide range of seasonal crops, both outdoors and across four polytunnels, allowing us to produce fresh, flavourful food for as much of the year as possible. Everything we grow is guided by care, curiosity, and respect for the land.

Alongside fresh produce, we also sell plants and run courses, sharing what we’re learning and encouraging others to grow their own food. What began as a new chapter for our family has become something we’re proud to build and share with our local community—honest food, grown well, in a beautiful corner of Carlow
